What is microdermabrasion used for?
This procedure can be used to treat:

How does it work?
Microdermabrasion is an intensive, medical-grade skin exfoliation treatment, which soothes and removes the top outer layer of skin. It is performed using natural diamond-tipped wands that exfoliate the skin, reducing the visibility of wrinkles, lines, scars, and other imperfections and signs of ageing. The microdermabrasion process also helps to encourage the production of collagen, which keeps skin firm and young-looking.
What makes diamond vacuum microdermabrasion different?
As noted above, the diamond treatment is the quickest, most comfortable dermabrasion procedure available. The wand uses modern diamond technology to exfoliate gently and effectively, and suck the dead skin using an adjustable pressurised vacuum. The whole procedure is over in around thirty minutes.
Is it an alternative to Botox or facial fillers?
Microdermabrasion is so effective that it may be considered a functional alternative to Botox or dermal filler treatments, especially if you don’t like needles – many people find the prospect of deep, gentle exfoliation far more appealing!
How many treatments will I need?
You should notice some improvement straight away*, but we recommend a full course of 6 treatments (one session per week) for optimum results.

What is the recovery time?
There is no recovery period, although skin may appear red in colour for several hours after the treatment.
What aftercare measures should be taken?
Do not apply pressure or hot water to the treated area within 48 hours of procedure. SPF necessary whilst in sunlight, and facial moisturisers are advised to keep your skin healthy after the treatment.
